Our 2nd Annual Lenten project to raise funds to purchase medical kits for Ukrainian soldiers has officially ended.
We are happy to announce we EXCEEDED our goal of raising $10,000 by Pascha, May 5, 2024! In total, we collected $13,895!
Nearly half of this total came from an unexpected source. A former parishioner, Michael Bezney, recently celebrated a milestone birthday. His friends were looking for a charity to make donations in his honor and, after researching, chose our Hope Fund. We are honored and blessed to have received $6,000 from Michael's friends and coworkers!
We thank all of the donors from our parish and elsewhere who made it possible for us to recently purchase $15,000 in medical supplies for Ukraine. 175 "Stop The Bleed" Kits and 100 Chest Seals were purchased and shipped. We have recently received confirmation that these supplies have reached our contacts in Ukraine, and notes of gratitude for the lives that may be saved by these supplies. Слава Україні! Героям Слава!
We will continue to purchase medical kits for Ukraine, when more donations are received.
Click here to donate. Select "Hope Fund" from the drop-down list.
Please remember to cover all fees related to online donations, or make a cash or check donation in our church office.
Thank you for continuing to support the medical needs of our Ukrainian soldiers!
