We are happy to announce that Religious Education for the 2021-2022 school year commenced on Sunday, September 12, 2021.
*** Please note! Rehearsals for the St. Nicholas program, scheduled for December 19, will begin on Sunday, October 31, 2021. All children are invited to participate. ***
- First Confession preparation class will be each Sunday beginning at 9 AM in our church hall. Students will meet in the hall and then be escorted upstairs after class. We anticipate our First Confession date to be Sunday, May 22, 2022. This will be confirmed in the near future.
Parents having questions about First Confession or wishing to register their children must contact Daria O’Byrne directly (contact information below).
- All other students will be divided into 2 classes, much as we did before our summer classes, in the church hall immediately following Holy Communion.
The same safety precautions that we have been adhering to will apply. Tables and materials are sanitized each week before our classes begin, and social distancing will be maintained. Masks are encouraged.
Our hope for this year is the same as always; to provide a safe and educational class for any student wishing to attend, and to encourage the special camaraderie enjoyed between all age groups.
We hope to sponsor many of our special traditions like St. Nicholas Day and Lent projects for our shut-ins as we have done in years past.
